Each piece was composed by recording improvised tracks to a set metronome tempo recording.
The improvised parts of each piece were recorded independently, while the preceding recorded tracks were muted, thus leaving the interaction of each voice to chance, instead of composition.
Once each a piece was complete, the initial metronome pulse was removed and the improvisations were mixed.
Due to the controlled chance with these pieces, they likely could be referred to as Aleatoric music, though the purpose of this experiment was not aimed at an excersise in that movement specifically.
